Hello, I’m Ms. Flora.
I build personalised learning programs that help your child grow in confidence and independence while supporting you (the parent/guardian) with clarity and reassurance along the way.
With over 20 years of working with children and families, I’ve seen how much children flourish when they feel understood.
That’s why I don’t follow a fixed formula. I blend Montessori principles with traditional educational methods, shaping each programme around your child’s needs, like pace, personality, and environment.
Your family’s culture, routines, and dynamics matter here. They are not background details, they are part of how your child learns.

This is not homework help.
This is not standard tutoring.
This is not a one-size-fits-all method.
This is a learning space built around your child, and supported by you.
Here, children grow in confidence and independence and parents feel guided, reassured, and never alone in the process.

Flora understands that each child learns differently and starts from different places, such as:
social and emotional development
independence and self esteem
educational growth
Here, children grow in confidence and independence and parents feel guided, reassured, and never alone in the process.
Every family arrives with different needs. Some come because their child needs personalised learning support. Others come because they want clarity and guidance in how to support their child at home.
Here are the two main ways we can work together:
A structured learning programme tailored to your child’s pace, strengths, and environment.
Each session blends traditional methods with Montessori principles to support academic development, emotional growth, and independence.
I work closely with you to ensure your child’s learning continues naturally beyond our sessions.
For children up to age 11.
One-to-one sessions designed to help you better understand your child’s development, behaviour, and learning needs.
These sessions give you clarity and practical guidance, so you can feel more confident in how you support your child day to day.
As a parent, it’s natural to want to support your child in the best way possible. These sessions offer guidance and reassurance to help you do that with confidence.
creating a shared learning journey where
child and parent grow together.
This may be a good fit if:
Your child has their own unique learning rhythm
You’re part of a multicultural or multilingual family
You’re looking for clarity and reassurance in supporting your child
You value emotional wellbeing as much as academic growth
This isn’t about fixing your child. It’s about understanding them.
Beneath every challenge is a way of learning that hasn’t yet been fully understood.
My role is to gently explore that, helping your child grow in confidence and independence, step by step.
I’m Ms. Flora, originally from the UK and now based in Hong Kong. For over 20 years, I’ve worked closely with children and families across different countries, cultures, and educational settings.
I’m Montessori-trained and have experience with the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) and other curricula, but more importantly, I’ve spent decades observing how children truly learn through curiosity, connection, and the environment around them.
My work has taken me from classrooms to family homes, from early childhood to pre-teens. Along the way, I’ve learned that meaningful progress happens when children feel understood and when families feel supported.
That’s what Ms. Flora’s Learning Space is built on.
If you’re wondering how to best support your child, I’d be happy to speak with you and explore what might feel right for your family.
